Collaborative project pARTisan and Revision Group: ‘Apollo and Dionysus at the sunset’: a series of Skype chats which took place from June to August, 2011 among Maksim Vakulćyk, Źana Hrak, Andrej Durejka, Andrej Lohinau, Maksim Tyminka, Siarhiej Kiruśćanka, Tamara Sakałova, Kirył Chłopau in Amsterdam, Berlin and Dusseldorf.

The reason was the proposal of pARTisan to publish Revision Group album / Your Favorites in a series of anthology of Belarusian contemporary art pARTisan’s Collection. But the author’s concept of the album — a book in the form of talks – didn’t meet the requirements of the Collection’s common concept. That’s why pARTisan publishes shorter version of these talks in a special issue.

Revision Group (since 2005) is an open art community where Belarusian artists — Maksim Vakulćyk, Źana Hrak, Andrej Durejka, Andrej Lohinau, Maksim Tyminka — create their collaborative projects through discussion of various aesthetic ideas. Before joining in Revision the artists of the group studied together in Germany, and also realized a series of collaborative projects in Minsk in the 90s.
